About the Role

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be a critical player in investigating and assessing risk events raised by ANZ Australia Retail and Commercial divisions. Your main responsibility will be providing advice, guidance, and training to ASIC Reportability Specialist colleagues within the team. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Unit SMEs, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders, to assess for ASIC reportability and provide inputs into ASIC submissions.

Your strong critical thinking, effective communication skills, and ability to navigate complex regulatory issues will be crucial in ensuring that the organization consistently meets its regulatory obligations and upholds high standards of risk management.

This role will support the centralised model by applying a specialised regulatory investigation and breach identification skillset.

Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
