Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate educator to teach Computer Science and Digital Society to secondary school students (Grades +–12), including those in the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, digital technologies, and global digital trends, and will be committed to fostering digital literacy, computational thinking, and ethical awareness in the digital age.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons in Computer Science and Digital Society, aligning with both school and IBDP frameworks.
Teach and support learners across different grades (+ to 12), including IBDP Year 1 and 2.
Design and assess internal assessments (IA), projects, and exam preparation for IBDP Computer Science and Digital Society.
Encourage inquiry, interdisciplinary connections, and real-world problem-solving using technology.
Guide students in developing programming, algorithmic thinking, and IT systems understanding.
Introduce emerging technologies (AI, data science, cybersecurity, digital ethics, etc.) to contextualize learning.
Foster responsible digital citizenship, online safety, and understanding of global digital inequalities.
Use a range of digital tools and platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, coding platforms, LMS) to enhance teaching.
Participate in collaborative planning, curriculum development, and internal standardization processes.
Attend parent-teacher conferences, school events, professional development sessions, and IBDP training workshops.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
B.Ed. or teaching qualification preferred (mandatory for Secondary level as per local norms).
IBDP subject-specific training in Computer Science and/or Digital Society (preferred or willingness to complete).
Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Grades +–12, including exposure to the IBDP curriculum.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
Understanding of computer systems, networks, databases, and system design.
Strong knowledge of global digital trends, ethical issues, and technological impacts on society.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and student mentoring skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction for students of varying abilities and learning styles.
Familiarity with design thinking, project-based learning, and interdisciplinary approaches.

Pay: ₹8,664.4+ - ₹65,201.68 per month
