We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks related to concrete construction. This role involves working on various projects, including building, restoring, and renovating structures using concrete and masonry techniques.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects.
Perform concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces and proper alignment.
Engage in heavy lifting and manual labor as required on job sites.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete flooring installations and other related tasks.
Set up and dismantle concrete forms as needed for different projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Operate basic tools and equipment related to masonry work, including mixers and hand tools.
Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met.
Skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
Experience in carpentry or flooring installation is a plus.
Knowledge of masonry techniques, including mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
Proficiency in welding is beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to restore and build structures effectively.
Familiarity with concrete forming processes is highly desirable.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on job sites.
