Full Time Conference & Events Manager
Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour


As our Conference & Events Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the successful conversion, planning and execution of all meetings and events. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Kitchen and Food & Beverage team, you’ll ensure every event exceeds expectations—from first enquiry to final delivery.

We’re seeking a confident and driven professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a passion for service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of conferences, meetings and events
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless delivery
Drive revenue through proactive sales, upselling and strategic planning
Manage forecasting, reporting and budgeting to achieve financial targets
Deliver exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail and personalised service
Lead and support a small team to ensure high performance and engagement
What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 years’ experience in conference and events or similar role
Proven ability to drive revenue, convert business and build repeat clientele
Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
Leadership capability with experience supporting or managing team members
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience with Opera PMS and Delphi (or similar systems) is advantageous
Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Events or a related field (preferred)
