Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the employee base.
- Manage statutory compliance, including TDS, Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and professional tax.
- Design, update, and maintain employee CTC structures in line with legal and organizational standards.
- Ensure adherence to minimum wage regulations and other labor laws as applicable.
- Reconcile payroll data with the Finance team to ensure consistency in financial reporting.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for internal use and statutory audits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee queries.
- Stay informed on changes in tax laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements, and implement necessary updates to internal payroll processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA in HR/Finance is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, CTC structuring, and Indian labor and tax laws.
- Proficient in payroll software and advanced MS Excel functions.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially Finance.
