• Create and store electronic drawings.
• Program drawings into automated manufacturing systems.
• Prepare design variations.
• Explain concepts to construction workers.
• Develop engineering drawings detailing plans and specifications.
• Create wiring and layout diagrams used by electrical equipment and wiring installers.
• Prepare drawings and topographical relief maps for highways, bridges, pipelines, flood-control projects, and water and sewage systems.
• Design layouts, constructions, and operations of oil and gas fields, refineries, chemical plants, and process piping systems.
• Prepare drawings showing machinery and mechanical device assembly detail and method.
