Data Engineer with ETL Experience
Job Description
Desired Skills Expert level experience in Data Quality Design and Development, best practices, and processes. Experience with ETL/ELT technologies (Informatica preferred) Experience in Data integration, data quality, data architecture and, project life cycle Phases, best practices, and processes Strong data modeling (Relational Databases & Data Warehouse) and related technology skills (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL etc.) Experience working with other DQ tools. Experience in handling job sequences and job schedules to automate the ETL processes. Experience Converting Data quality Jobs/sequences from IBM InfoSphere DataStage/Quality Stage to other tools like informatica Data Quality (IDQ/CDQ) Required Skills At least 3-5 years of experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Server. IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1 or newer Experience in developing Parallel jobs using various stages like Join, Merge, Lookup, Surrogate key Funnel, Sort, Transformer, Copy, Remove Duplicate, Filter, Pivot and Aggregator stages for grouping and summarizing on key performance indicators Experience with Relational Databases and Data warehouses Experience in handling feeds using multiple data sources such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Complex Flat Files, Delimited Files and XML files Experience in performance tuning and methodologies in Data Quality Basic Skills Required Experience with MS Office products Visio and Project experience Scripting - DOS/PowerShell/Unix Shell Scripting Experience with data quality tools Ability to write data rules using pseudo code Ability to understand Quality Stage Jobs and Sequences and document the same
