Job Overview:
We are looking for an HR Consultant to co-work with the internal team at United Way Mumbai and manage every aspect of the employment process, including recruitment, orientation, maintaining records, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
• Understand hiring needs and develop role-specific sourcing strategies in consultation with department heads
• Manage the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing to onboarding
• Screen and shortlist candidates through resume reviews and interviews
• Coordinate with hiring managers and schedule interviews efficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation and candidate records
• Provide weekly status updates and hiring metrics
• Facilitating onboarding & orientation
• Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
• Prepare HR-related reports as needed
• Remain updated on employment laws and regulations
• Support employer branding initiatives and campus engagement activities
Profile Requisites
• Graduate in HRM or similar field, prior experience in an HR role is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in recruitment (in-house or consultancy)
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple roles with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with ATS tools and basic Excel reporting
Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the consultancy fees range is INR 15,000 - 18,000 per month.
