About the team

Our team specialises in services that drive operational excellence in government organisations. We help our clients solve their largest most complex challenges that range from responding to new regulatory requirements through to implementing new technology advances.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you will engage directly with high-profile public-sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority operational related problems. You will also:

Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive value and performance
Work for some of the most inspiring public sector programs and organisations
Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design Thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, and experience from our global network
Undertake extensive operations and transformation focused training and development (both structured and on the job)

We are seeking applications from practitioners with extensive operations advisory, transformation, program orchestration or similar experience in State Government.

You are someone with:
2-4years of experience in Consultancy or state government within operation field
Strong understanding of government processes, procurement, policy implementation and / or strategy execution
Proven track record of leading workstreams or project components independently
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Exposure to services delivery redesign, process mapping, digital enablement, policy reform or performance improvement within state government or public sector
