Responsible for guiding the account and creative teams in optimising the output, quality and value of their work, whilst supporting and encouraging colleagues to identify and grow new business opportunities. Is the key point of contact for clients and accountable for the planning, execution and measurement of a portfolio of projects and programmes to the client’s satisfaction, whilst ensuring strategically-aligned, quality deliverables on time and within budget. This pivotal position encompasses three key areas – business building, strategic thinking/brand building, and troubleshooting.

About the Role
H/Advisors Cicero is looking to hire a Consultant to join our UK Public Affairs team. The award-winning team requires an individual with cross-sector experience, ideally with a focus on financial services. In this role, the successful candidate will work as a key member of the team delivering political analysis, public affairs campaigns, and policy insights to provide strategic direction to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a related field such as political consultancy, government, regulator, or a political role.
Highly competent in all written and verbal communications.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to take a range of complex policy issues, analyse and write about them effectively aligned to our clients’ needs.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
Ability and desire to continuously learn new areas of policy in-depth.
Role Responsibilities
Delivering political analysis, public affairs campaigns, and intelligence to our clients to support the direction of their strategic aims.
Attending client meetings and working closely with Directors and Partners to run the account team and support account delivery.
Demonstrate innovation and creativity in presenting new strategic communications ideas.
Assist with the development and presentation of new business opportunities.
