Job Overview:
As the Content Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that resonates with our audience, drives traffic, and supports FitBudd’s growth objectives. You will work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices, engages users, and supports overarching business and brand goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and Execute Content Strategy: Lead content planning, creation, and optimization, ensuring content aligns with user needs, business objectives, and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and optimized for search engines.
• Content Creation & Management: Write, edit, and oversee content production for blog posts, landing pages, marketing materials, and more, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and quality.
• Content Performance Optimization: Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to monitor content performance, assess organic traffic, and adjust strategies to improve results.
• Content Audits & Updates: Regularly audit existing content, identify opportunities for improvement, and update old content to maintain relevance and improve SEO performance.
• Content Promotion & Distribution: Work with the marketing team to ensure content reaches the right audience at the right time, using various distribution channels and formats.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up to date with the latest content and SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices, integrating these insights into content strategies.Qualifications:
• Proven experience in content strategy, creation, and management in a digital-first environment.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical) and experience integrating SEO strategies into content.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create content that is engaging, informative, and optimized for search engines.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and content optimization platforms like Surfer SEO.
• Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust content strategies accordingly.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Passion for creating content that informs, engages, and drives meaningful results.
