Job Description
• Release Management:
• Manage the schedule and publication of English and localized technical skilling training content by communicating past and planned release dates to relevant stakeholders.
• Partner with content development, localization, program management, and engineering teams to ensure content is released on time and meets Microsoft’s quality and compliance standards.
• Monitor and resolve escalations, providing timely support via the Courseware Release Support inbox.
• Offer assistance, coaching, and comprehensive onboarding to the Content Development team to ensure ongoing readiness and support.
• Oversee ongoing maintenance of release documentation to align with evolving business requirements.
• Engage actively in essential meetings and serve as facilitator when required.
• Create monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for upper management, conveying the volume of releases; maintain dashboards for fiscal volumes and project tracking.
• Project Management:
• Support the ILT Publishing Program Manager in executing projects and initiatives, including:
• Future of ILT publication workstream.
• Content quality publication workstream.
• Implementation and process development for new publishing modalities.
• Deprecation and replacement of legacy toolsets and processes.
• Business Continuity:
• Support modernization of authoring, publishing, and release tools and processes.
• Contribute to reimagining processes for authoring, publishing, and release across the entire life cycle.
• Assist the program manager in efficient maintenance and retirement of content and products, aligned to product/program management strategy and agreed-upon timelines.
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in content publishing, project management, or a related field within a global or technical training environment.
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and GitHub
• Stakeholder management experience
• Familiarity with Agile and Kanban Methodologies
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process optimization and operational improvements.
• Familiarity with release management, content lifecycle processes, and reporting tools preferred.
