For the past two decades, the company has been publishing The Retail Jeweller Magazine and Market Tabloid, renowned as India’s favorite business publication for jewellery retailers, distributed across 603 cities and towns. The company hosts prestigious events such as the Retail Jeweller India Awards and the Retail Jeweller India Forum, both designed to drive growth and innovation in the industry. Additionally, it publishes the weekly digital newsletter RETAIL DIVE (India) and an international edition for the Middle East and global audience.
Role Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our editorial (Print) team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about writing engaging and high-quality content for our magazine. You will be responsible for content creation, content development, and content writing across various topics, with a focus on B2B content, Magazine content and editorial-style articles. You will be responsible for our daily and weekly newsletters, as well as long-form features. A versatile and creative Business Journalist with 6months or any years of experience, who has worked in content writing and understands the rhythm of retail and magazine/media industries.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Develop engaging feature articles on the latest jewellery retail trends and marketing strategies. Uncover and narrate important stories from the jewellery economy, highlighting innovative practices and industry leaders. Conduct in-depth interviews with industry experts and executives to gather valuable insights and perspectives.
• Writing and Editing: Craft captivating headlines, informative captions, and concise story summaries. Ensure all content is accurate, coherent, and aligns with our editorial style guides. Maintain consistency with our brand voice and adhere to high journalistic standards.
• Audience Engagement: Enhance the Retail DIVE Weekly Newsletter by integrating compelling and relevant content that resonates with our readers. Monitor reader feedback and engagement to continuously refine content strategies and boost reader satisfaction.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the editorial team, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of content. Cover industry events and forums as needed, providing thorough reporting and analysis.
• Professional Growth: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and business practices within the jewellery sector. Pursue opportunities for professional development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our content.
• Strong Web Content Writing and general Writing skills to create engaging and effective articles and features.
Skills :
• Experience in developing Content Strategies and conducting Research to deliver audience-relevant content.
• Proofreading skills to ensure content quality and adherence to editorial standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site team environment in Mumbai.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of the jewellery industry or a passion for lifestyle and luxury content is a plus.
