If you’re a skilled writer who knows their way around SEO, AI writing tools, and the world of small business marketing — keep reading. We’re looking for someone who can write content that’s both helpful and optimized, while being unique and creative. If you understand SEO and Google’s EEAT framework, this might be the career you are looking for.
WE DO NOT OUTSOURCE
Location: Saskatoon or Remote (Canada)
Term: Permanent PT 15-20 hrs/mo (potential to grow into more)
Wage: $20-24/hr based on experience
Must Haves
Without the skills in this section, your resume goes to the trash folder.
Excellent English communication skills—can clearly explain ideas to clients and team members.
Strong writing and editing with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
Knows when and how to use AI tools like ChatGPT and Grammarly (not just copy/paste).
Fast researcher—can quickly understand complex topics and simplify them in writing.
Strong ability to adapt writing tone and style to fit different brand voices.
More than one year experience in professional writing, marketing industry preferred.
MUST have your own computer with fast internet.
MUST live in Canada
Get Noticed
The skills or past experience in this section will get you noticed.
Ability to create simple graphics for ads/blogs using Photoshop or similar.
Strong grasp of SEO best practices—keyword placement, internal linking, etc.
Experience using SEO software for keyword and topic research.
Familiarity with Google Ads or Google Business Profile tools.
Understanding of WordPress or similar CMS platforms for formatting and publishing blog content.
Solid understanding of Google’s EEAT framework (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
Job Responsibilities

Write clear, engaging content that matches the client’s brand and voice.
Collaborate with our web design and SEO teams to make sure content fits the bigger picture.
Edit and proofread everything for grammar, clarity, and SEO.
Ghostwrite SEO-optimized blog posts for small business clients.
Create copy and visuals for Google Business Profile posts and Google Ads.
Write short-form content and scripts for client email campaigns.
