Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes to the highest standards.
Assist the senior chefs in the preparation and presentation of meals.
Ensure all food items are prepared and presented according to recipes and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Monitor and manage inventory and stock levels.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and improve menu offerings.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Commis 1 Chef or similar role, specializing in continental cuisine.
Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
