Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. This person will oversee the agencys accounting processes and play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and timeliness of our financial reporting. Youll partner closely with the CFO and Project Finance Analyst, and have the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger
Maintain and improve monthly close process: intercompany entries, journal entries, balance sheet/income statement reconciliations, and COGS calculation
Manage corporate card reconciliations and monitor credit limits/fraud
Produce weekly financial reporting and cash flow forecasts
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting best practices
Compile monthly financial close packets for senior leadership
Support CFO with audit preparation and strategic financial analysis
Learn and leverage our accounting and project management system (Workbook by Deltek) to manage data integrity and reporting accuracy
Serve as a finance point of contact across teams to resolve issues and improve processes
What Youll Need:
610 years of accounting experience, ideally within a marketing/advertising/creative agency environment
Proven ability to independently manage and improve accounting processes and financial reporting
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Proficiency in accounting software (Workbook/Deltek experience a strong plus)
Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Eagerness to learn, improve processes, and take ownership of outcomes
Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Keynote a plus
International accounting experience or multi-currency exposure is a bonus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or pursuit of certification a plus
