We are offering a rewarding position with a growing company based in Northern, Minnesota, United States. The Controller will be tasked with managing various finance and accounting functions within the organization. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including maintaining financial records, managing budgets, and working cross functionally.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the general finance and accounting functions in accordance with US GAAP
• Utilize process improvement tools and methods to continuously enhance safety and outcomes within the department
• Drive revenue, increase efficiency and reduce expenses while complying with all regulations set by external regulatory agencies and internal policies
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, reconcile accounts, and manage budgeting and forecasting
• Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasts, and manage annual external audits
• Use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to manage and analyze financial statements
• Utilize strong communication skills to inclusively and collaboratively interact with all stakeholders

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting/finance
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
• Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare financial statement reports and strong skills in cash flow analysis and creating cash flow forecasts
• Previous involvement coordinating with external auditors
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
