Responsibilities
Kforce's client, a hypergrowth MedTech unicorn, is seeking its first Controller/Assistant Controller to report to its CFO. This is a company that is scaling rapidly and addressing a massive need in the marketplace. It has a technology driven "full platform" solution developed by leaders that have had massive success and top track records at leading companies in the world. This is also a company that is backed by 2 of the most prominent venture capital firms in the world. This job will be 100% remote. The company's leaders sit in the Northeast, so ability to work ET hours will be helpful. Duties will include:
• The Controller will be leading month end close, financial statement prep, general ledger work
• Bringing accounting fully in house for the first time
• Building the department correctly - building a team, proper controls, policies and procedures
• The Controller will be managing the operational accounting team including A/R, A/P and payroll
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Advanced degree a plus
• CPA required
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Big 4 experience is a plus
• Technology sector or MedTech industry experience is a plus
• Experience as an Assistant Controller or Manager is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
