Job description:
• This is a long-term project opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer with a strong background in stamping operations.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and commission industrial control systems, including PLC software and HMI screens, across various industries and environments.
• Develop PLC/HMI code, install and debug software on-site, and commission complete control systems.
• Program peripheral devices and machine PLCs.
• Coordinate machine debugging, power-up, and validation activities in collaboration with build and electrical teams.
• Ensure all systems are designed and programmed according to customer requirements and build specifications, using standard engineering practices and methodologies
