This role is key in supporting the functions of the Strategic Engagement and Partnerships team.

The salary band for this role is $61,550 - $68,390 depending on relevant skills and experience of the candidate.

He aha tāu e mahi ana | What you will be doing

The Coordinator Community Engagement role is vital to the smooth running and function of the Central region team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Manager Community Engagement and team to engage well in the community
Ensure that team members are at the right place, at the right times, with the right tools
Provide administration support for the Manager and Community Engagement team.
Contribute to the delivery of timely and accurate reports including managing various project reports and spreadsheets
Support the delivery of engagement in a digital environment.

To be successful in this role you need the following:

Strong communication and relationship skills and knowledge of te ao Māori.
Proven data entry skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Planning and organisational skills
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Possess high attention to detail and ability to recognise discrepancies
Professional and results orientated with good business and customer focus
Experience managing confidential information appropriately
A full NZ drivers’ license
