- Facilitating media interviews for Company spokespersons
- Building strong relationships with media
- Conceptualizing and drafting content including press releases, background papers, OPED, and media briefing documents for top management
- Working with PR agency to achieve deliverables
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Post Graduate Degree - B-Tech + MBA / master's in communication or journalism / MBA
- Essential qualification from institutes like MICA, NMIMS, Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication (SIMC), IIMC, MCRC Jamia or similar
- Minimum of 12 - 14 years of work experience in corporate communication or leading national daily / wire / broadcast media
- Proficiency in writing (e.g. press releases, speeches for management) and excellent media relations
- Experience in handling crisis communication in a corporate setup
- Engineering background or exposure to the manufacturing sector will be advantageous
