Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth legal operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Documentation: Prepare, proofread, and edit a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, corporate resolutions, and filings.

Communication: Serve as a key point of contact between the legal department and internal/external stakeholders. Facilitate clear and professional communication via phone, email, and written correspondence.

Corporate Governance: Assist with maintaining corporate records, updating minute books, and preparing board materials.

Contract Management: Track, organize, and maintain contracts and ensure compliance with relevant deadlines and obligations.

Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange meetings, appointments, and travel logistics for the legal team. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, and minutes.

Legal Research: Assist attorneys with legal research, gathering necessary documentation and compiling information for legal matters.

Filing & Record Keeping: Manage and organize physical and electronic legal files, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility when needed.

Regulatory Filings: Prepare and submit corporate filings to regulatory agencies in compliance with deadlines.

Client & Vendor Relations: Coordinate with external legal counsel, vendors, and clients as needed to ensure timely processing of requests and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential for liaising with various stakeholders, preparing reports, and ensuring clarity in all legal correspondence.

Attention to Detail: Must demonstrate a keen eye for accuracy in preparing legal documents and maintaining records.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and keep legal matters organized.

Technological Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, legal document management systems, and other relevant software tools.

Confidentiality: Must handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and adhere to legal confidentiality protocols.

Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred. Previous experience in a corporate legal setting is highly desirable.
