We have an opening for a Corporate Service Clerk supporting our Yellowknife office, working remotely from our Edmonton office. The Corporate Service clerk is an essential role in assisting professionals in their day-to-day work.

Duties + Responsibilities
Preparation of Annual Return packages for Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon
Manually preparing documentation relating to:
Business names renewals (Northwest Territories and Yukon);
Notices of Change of Directors (extra-territorial, domestic);
Notices of Change of Registered Office (extra-territorial, domestic);
Notices of Change of Head Office (extra-territorial).
Familiar with Industry Canada – Corporations Branch filings and searches.
Corporate searches - Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, Federal and other jurisdictions.
ALF database entry and updates, etc.
Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon Society or Non-Profit entity maintenance.
Reminders on outstanding matters including outstanding accounts.
Opening files.
Interaction and servicing lawyers, internal staff, and clients.
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications + Skills
Legal Assistant/Paralegal Diploma or related education.
3+ years’ experience working in a law firm or similar professional setting.
Knowledge of ALF is preferred.
Advanced computer skills.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent follow-up and bring-forward skills.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize effectively and handle high pressure deadlines.
