Job Description
• We seek a journalist with extensive experience in news reporting, feature writing, or content creation for both offline and online media organizations.
• The candidate must have exceptional writing, communication, and teamwork abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail.
• He or she should have an eye for details and an aptitude for news, as well as the ability to quickly transform press releases into engaging news reports for both online and offline media, with additional research inputs as necessary.
• To transform news breaks into excellent feature stories, you must be able to connect the connections, identify compelling story angles, and grasp the big picture.
• Writing daily news reports for online publications, feature articles for monthly/bimonthly print publications, propagating news published online in social media channels, generating video content (such as interviews), planning and curating conference content and conference speakers, and searching for intriguing story ideas in the transportation and logistics industry are responsibilities of this position.
• Due to the senior nature of the position, mentoring and managing very tiny reporting teams will also be necessary.
• The ideal candidate would have previous experience working for a B2B publication in the transportation and logistics industry.
• The position, located in Mumbai (Navi Mumbai), requires someone who can multitask and work under duress. The position requires a significant amount of travel, both domestically and internationally.
