Job Description
Fabrication Bazar is a fast growing technology based manufacturing start-up looking to fill a Cost Accountant (CA /CMA) vacancy. The ideal candidate should manage cost information efficiently to maximize profitability.
Typical job duties and responsibilities:
· Maintaining costs of raw materials, WIP, packaging, finished goods etc.
· Plan, record & analysis of fixed and variable costs.
· Developing accurate product cost model.
· Developing procurement, bill of material, scrap & stock reconciliations methodology.
· Ensuring margins & costs are identified and recorded accurately.
· Analysing the P&L and balance sheet accounts to understand the main cost drivers of the business and support in decision making.
· Determine and implement process improvements.
Skills and attributes:
· Previous cost accounting experience.
· In-depth understanding of ‘GAAP’.
· Excellent working knowledge of computer software including Excel and other production/costing software and ERP systems (Zoho etc).
· Ability to effectively communicate with non-finance staff.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Self-motivated and forward-thinking.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
· Relevant Accounting or Finance degree (CA /CMA).
Salary guide:
Fixed + incentive, Negotiable
