Key Responsibilities For The Cost Accountant Role
• Cost Management: Oversee and manage cost standards, ensuring accurate and consistent application across the organization.
• Scrap Management: Analyze and control scrap costs, implementing strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with inventory policies and procedures.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed financial reports, conduct cost analysis, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and participate in special projects, including process improvement initiatives and financial modeling, to support company objectives.
Qualifications For The Cost Accountant
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proven experience in cost management and analysis within a manufacturing setting.
This role is fully on-site.
Salary: $70,000 - $+0,000 depending on experience
