Job Description
Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently at the counter
Prepare and assemble food items in accordance with health and safety standards
Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude
Handle cash transactions and operate the till system with basic maths skills
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including sanitising surfaces and utensils
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in organising stock levels and restocking supplies as needed
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
Experience in serving customers with excellent communication skills
Familiarity with basic maths for cash handling and order processing
Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: From £24,420.00 per year
