Compensation & Schedule
• Pay: $16/hr to start, with potential for performance-based raises after the initial assessment period.
• Time Off: Guaranteed Saturday OFF + a second full day off (Monday or Tuesday). This highly sought-after schedule provides consistent work-life balance!
• Schedule: Mon-Thu 10 AM-6:30 PM | Fri 7 AM-3:30 PM | Sun 10 AM-5 PM

Core Responsibilities
This role combines expert customer service with detailed product handling in a lively market environment.
• Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, process orders accurately using the POS system, and ensure a positive, welcoming shopping experience.
• Product Expertise: Curate, weigh, and expertly package fresh fish, seafood, and specialty market items to customer specifications.
• Knowledgeable Sales: Provide friendly and helpful advice on seafood selection, preparation, and storage (full product knowledge training provided).
• Market Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the retail display and counter area, including stocking and rotating inventory.
✨ Requirements
• Attitude: Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused personality.
• Experience: Customer service or retail experience is strongly preferred.
• Communication: English fluency required. Bilingual Spanish/English is a major plus and will be prioritized.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and handle cold product/ice; ability to lift up to 30 lbs is helpful.
• Reliability: Punctuality and dependable attendance are essential.
