Job description
As a Delivery Boy, you will be responsible for distributing various packages to specified locations within a given time frame. You will need to plan daily travel routes based on locations and time frames, carefully load and unload all packages, and answer customers" questions and respond to complaints in a professional manner. Additionally, you will be required to investigate any discrepancies with the delivered packages and obtain customers" signatures on delivery papers upon completion of each delivery. If working with a company vehicle, you will also be responsible for cleaning, washing, refueling, and maintaining the vehicle. It is important to promptly report any road accidents and traffic violations to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distributing various packages to specified locations within a given time frame
- Planning daily travel routes based on locations and time frames
- Carefully loading and unloading all packages
- Answering customers" questions and responding to complaints in a professional manner
- Investigating any discrepancies with the delivered packages
- Obtaining customers" signatures on delivery papers upon completion of each delivery
- Cleaning, washing, refueling, and maintaining the company vehicle if will work with company vehicle
- Promptly reporting any road accidents and traffic violations to the company
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Having own Two-wheeler
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Proven delivery experience is preferred
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
- Working knowledge of local roads and routes
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
