Job Summary:
You will be a key part of the team during our busiest time of the year, assisting our Package Delivery Drivers with delivering packages to customers. You’ll ride along in our iconic brown trucks, helping with package delivery, customer interactions, and ensuring that packages reach their destination safely and on time. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.
Responsibilities:
• Ride along with a Package Delivery Driver to assist with deliveries.
• Help load and unload packages from the truck.
• Assist in delivering packages to customers on a designated route.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Lift packages up to 70 lbs.
• Follow instructions from the driver to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure all packages are delivered safely and accurately.
• Comply with UPS safety and uniform guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Package Delivery Driver.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical stamina to complete the work and stay active throughout the shift.
• No experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Must have sturdy work boots for safety.
• Flexible availability based on operational needs.
