Our client carries out independent educational research and provide the education sector with independent information, advice and research. We are looking for temporary support over 2 weeks this November with the marking and assessment of writing capabilities for year 3, 6 and 8 students.
This is a Wellington based role (not remote working) and you will be based in a large office on Lambton Quay. You will be provided with paid training at the start of this assignment, and you will mark assessments against established marking criteria. There will be guidance and support available from experienced staff who are there to support you in the marking of students work
Working 30-35 hours per week with assignment dates of Monday 18th November-Friday 29th November you will be:
Using educational knowledge to score students work
Accurately recording decisions using an online marking platform
Compare and mark students against specified marking criteria
Give and receive feedback on marks assigned
Work alongside other marking administrators to make accurate, justifiable and sound marking decisions
The preferred candidates will hold some or all the following skills and experience:
A high level of, and interest in, written English Literacy
A degree in education, humanities or equivalent
Experience in marking written work
Able to make accurate and justifiable decisions
Flexible and able to work in a team environment
Confident using internet-based tools and the ability to pick up new skills quickly
