Cover Supervisor/Cover Teacher - Crawley
Empowering Learning are working with a school in Crawley, West Sussex to recruit a full-time cover supervisors or qualified daily cover teachers that can join the team in its commitment to improving the attainment of all pupils. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team and make a real difference to the lives of your pupils.
About the role
You will be leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers for varying subjects at a school based in Crawley with an immediate start.
About you
• Experience working with students aged 11-16
• Flexibility to work in different subjects
• Confident managing behaviour
• An ability to build rapport with students
• Good classroom presence
• have a understanding of how to engage with students
• Experience as a cover supervisor (Desired)
We welcome applications from candidates with any level of experience, although previous experience of working with students with challenging behaviour will be an advantage. If you are an aspiring teacher, or an experience cover supervisor/teacher looking for a position, this opportunity could be ideal for you.
