Cover Supervisor
Location: Driffield
Salary: £+5 to £115 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time
Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding role in a school setting? GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant school in Driffield.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day by covering lessons in the absence of teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or working with young people.
Responsibilities As a Cover Supervisor
• Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher.
• Ensure students remain on task with the work set by the teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy.
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
As a Cover Supervisor, Essential Requirements Include The Following
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school environment.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and assertive in challenging situations.
• A passion for education and helping students succeed.
• Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
