Through this role, you’ll be working within a fantastic secondary school in Middlesbrough. This is a wonderful environment to get a comprehensive insight into the world of teaching which will help you decide if teaching is the right career path for you.
This role is a fantastic stepping stone to gain confidence and learn new skills that help prepare you for teacher training and will lay the foundations for a successful career in teaching.
Your day-to-day will include predominantly covering pre-planned engaging lessons as well as in quieter periods providing classroom support.
Throughout your role, you will be in a supportive environment and will have support from our highly praised pre-teacher training programme so you can excel and have an enjoyable experience.

• £501.65 per week (term time only)
What We Are Looking For:
• Hold a completed bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a 2:2
• Have experience working with children or even better in a secondary school environment (preferred but not essential)
• Passionate about making a difference to children’s lives
• A good working knowledge of English and Maths
• Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with others
• Able to adapt and use your own initiative
