Cover Teacher
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £100 - £230 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full-time

Responsibilities of a Cover Teacher:
As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for:
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects in line with the curriculum.
• Teaching students in the absence of their regular teachers, maintaining continuity in learning.
• Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Supporting students in their academic and personal development.
• Implementing pre-set lesson plans and adapting as necessary to meet students' needs.
• Collaborating with other staff to ensure a smooth transition for students during teacher absences.
Job Requirements for Cover Teacher:
To be successful as a Cover Teacher, you should have:
• A relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a Cover Teacher role is essential.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of learners.
• A commitment to maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
