We launched our product to market in November 2026 and experienced instant global appeal, shipping our hardware product to 28 countries to date and growing our app to 15,000 users across around the world. We’re fully funded to scale and ready to formally bring Willow to new markets.
Who we’re looking for
A Creative Lead to step into the role of our talented Willow team member who will be taking parental leave. The role is a fixed-term contract for 7 months with possibility of extension – we’re a rapidly growing business, and we value great talent who enjoy working here as much as we do!
Willow’s Creative Lead drives the success of our brand and marketing strategy by bringing creative ideas from conception to execution in a wide variety of deliverables. The ideal candidate thrives in a startup environment, doesn’t shy away from a challenge, and enjoys contributing to a highly collaborative team. You’ll be reporting to our Brand Marketing Manager and working closely with our Founders and wider team to design, produce and deliver creative deliverables that supports our growth.
What you’ll be up to
• Creative conception and design
• Develop, implement and manage creative ideation from concept through to execution.
• Oversee the delivery of the Willow brand on creative and design deliverables
• Collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing Manager on the creative direction of campaigns and brand assets
• Develop and execute creative assets including but not limited to print collateral and publications, product packaging, visual merchandising, advertisements, event materials, website and social media content, videos and animations, and more
Production support and art direction
• Work with third-party suppliers including but not limited to photographers, videographers, animators and other creative suppliers on execution and delivery of creative, ensuring the art direction aligns with strategic objectives
• Develop briefs, moodboards and shot lists to support production
• Review deliverables from internal and external creators, providing feedback and art direction with a keen critical eye for detail to inform a flawless final deliverable
• Collaborate across business, marketing and brand
• Bring insights, ideas and new approaches to the table to inform on business and marketing strategies – even TikTok videos we can do as a team!
• Provide guidance, advice and creative insights based on brand guidelines and best practice to internal stakeholders
• Evaluate and recommend tools, practices and technologies that enhance the design and creative workflow and capabilities
• Undertake project support activity as required and support the Brand Marketing Manager in the delivery of our brand to current and upcoming (global!) markets
• Work alongside suppliers and agency partners as needed to enhance campaigns
What you’ll bring to Team Willow
• Degree, certificate or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design
• 4-6 years career experience
• Highly proficient in design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
• Stakeholder management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative thinking coupled with a flexible attitude, with the ability to adjust and respond strategically to the ever-changing startup environment
•Top-notch organisational skills with the ability to self-manage your workload and prioritise tasks
• Bring genuinely good vibes to our eclectic, fun team
• Desirable skills, but not deal-breakers
• Experience designing for email marketing in Klaviyo
• Experience in coordinating production – photography, videography, lifestyle and campaign shoots
• Digital design experience for e-commerce websites
