An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Creative Manager to lead and inspire our dynamic creative team at Seed Heritage.
As the Creative Manager, you will be responsible for managing the workflow of the digital creative department, mentoring and developing a team of talented graphic designers, and overseeing the execution of innovative digital design strategies that align with the brand’s creative vision. Your leadership will drive the team to maintain standards of excellence while meeting project deadlines and enhancing the brand's identity.
Please note: This is a Fixed Term Contract of 12 Months
THE ROLE:
Lead the digital creative team, managing workflow and allocating resources effectively to ensure timely project delivery.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and open communication.
Provide creative direction and oversee the development of seasonal campaigns, events, and key brand moments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, eCommerce, and Visual Merchandising, to align creative outputs with the brand’s goals.
Assist with design projects as needed, maintaining a hands-on approach when necessary.
Ensure all creative outputs adhere to the brand standards and are aligned with our aesthetic and vision.
Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate innovative design elements into projects.
Lead brainstorming sessions and manage the monthly briefing process to keep the team on track.
Present the team’s work to key stakeholders and confidently manage project feedback and changes.
On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
5-8+ years of experience in creative roles, with a strong background in digital graphic design and project management.
A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Experience in the fashion industry is highly preferred.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma, as well as project management software like Jira.
Expertise in creating presentations using tools like Adobe, Figma, Canva, or Microsoft Office.
Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
A collaborative, enthusiastic, and solution-driven approach with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
