The role of the Copy Supervisor is a hybrid role requiring Team handling ,core copywriting skills and project management, This role is critical to the success of the Digital team as this team member is not just responsible for shaping up large-scale 360 degree marketing campaigns for a range of clients (both enterprise and SMB) in the F&B space but also ensuring on-- time, on--budget delivery of error -free campaign deliverables for the same.
The ideal incumbent will be expected to work on developing brands and associated identities for our clients, give direction to the copy strategy team and oversee day to day execution and help in developing rich content applicable across different digital media platforms. Specifically, the Copy Supervisor has the following responsibilities: • Participate in key client meetings, pitches and presentations •
Share responsibility with planning to shape strategic branding • Oversee a team of 5 junior and senior copywriters, responsible for their productivity, growth and development • Lead the copy team in development of concepts and execution of all projects from conception to completion • Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects The ideal candidate for this position will have: Very high IQ - you will need to brainstorm on complex projects, identify ideal brand communication vehicles and guide a team • Great copywriting skills - you will also need to be a mentor to the copy team and lead by example •
Strong process orientation -
Establish processes and systems to ensure that we scale without breaking our culture Ideal Experience: • 4+ years of copywriting experience for established brands, with at least 1+ year in a team handling role • Experience of having worked on F&B brands is a major plus
