EY GDS Business Consulting – Business Transformation & innovation Field of Play/Domain – BT&I Manager
As part of our Business Consulting team, you will help clients on their Business Transformation & Innovation domain projects with strong consulting and technical skills to provide consulting services. Working with regional and global team, you will help clients by demonstrating business and technology expertise across end-to-end Business transformation lifecycles and operating models including helping on automation (how the passion for technology can be used to create business outcomes. We work with our clients to find innovative solutions that create transparent and authentic customer experiences.
The opportunity
We’re looking for Manager in Business Transformation and Innovation domain to support EY clients along their digital transformation and digital journey, from strategy definition, to roadmaps and technical blueprints and project manage the implementation to join the group of our Business Consulting Team. Your Key Responsibilities
• Lead a dynamic team of professionals undertaking Business Transformation and Innovation projects for our Consulting Practice clients
• Responsible to lead proposal development and support in proposal presentation from GDS to EY clients on strategic opportunities
• On large business transformation projects support the Consulting Practice by taking up the role of workstream leaders/engagement managers
• Worked in the capacity of Asst Manager/Manager in Big 4’s or other consulting firms with good knowledge on the banking value chain and extensive experience in the
following venues or areas
• Strategy development
• Digital Transformation
• Customer Experience Transformation
• Operating Model Design
• Digital Strategy
• Process transformation
• Policies & Procedures
• Benchmarking
• Enterprise Performance Analysis
• Exposure or experience in digital solutions, automation projects will be an added advantage
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, must be able to effectively prioritize projects - align with team’s aspirations
• Able to build and manage a team of high performing consultants and achieve defined VoC targets for self and the team
• Participate actively in supporting the Business Consulting leadership in building the practice
• Manage relationship with key stakeholders to build tangible business outcomes. Focus consciously to build a network within the practice and brand yourself as a GDS focal
point to connect on relevant MENA pursuits/engagements
• Right attitude to understand and align with the organizational goals and priorities. Lead and support the leadership in implementing strategic initiatives at GDS/team levels.
• Collaborate with other competencies and ensure Organizational goals and priorities are achieved as a team
• Actively innovate the service offerings for banking and capital markets by adding technical value or by automating the delivery through tools developed ingeniously.
• Experience working in the capacity of Manager/senior consultant in any of the industries like GPS, RHC, Sports and Media, Energy, Oil & Gas, Telecom, Telecommunications
and Media etc would be a added value.
Skills And Attributes For Success
• Strong understanding and minimum 7-8 years of client facing consulting experience in digital strategy, business transformation domain
• Strong consulting and technical skills to provide consulting services and execute on various Digital Strategy, Business Transformation and Innovation project
• Experience in data-related projects - data analytics and dashboarding by leveraging various reporting tools like Power-Bi, Tableau etc
• Consulting experience in areas related design and develop operating models, policies & procedures, strategy, organizational structure, KPIs, vision, initiatives, maturity
analysis, business transformation, business process re-engineering
• Excellent understanding and knowledge on major technology changes, digital trends and disruptive technologies
• Ability to plan and run workshops involving Business and Technology executives on Transformation & Innovation projects
• Experience in project managing transformation engagements and initiatives
• Ability to benchmark client requirements against leading practices and identify client pain points and opportunities.
• Be creative, go-getter and take on any challenge to drive impact and results for our clients/ engagement stakeholders
• Good managerial and leadership skills to enhance the relationship with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities
To qualify for the role, you must have
• BE/B-Tech/MBA
• 8+ years of consulting work experience in Business Transformation Domain projects
• Good Research skills, report writing and communication skills and exposure to various research tools will be a necessary expectation of this role
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Experience in usage of analytical tools/ representations
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Project management skills
• Report writing, Customer handling, Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience in usage of analytical tools/ representations
• Right attitude to understand and align organizational goals and priorities and assist in implementation of strategic initiatives
• Willing to work on Sunday to Thursday working week and support MENA timings (11AM – 8.30 PM), as preferred (supporting Middle East Clients)
