About the Role
Reporting to the Retail Centre Manager and based at our Trivett Automotive Retail site in Penrith, the Sales Consultant plays a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging vehicle sales journey. You will be representing Subaru as well as other brandsand act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers both in-store and online from their first enquiry through to post-delivery follow-up.

Your focus will be on delivering tailored solutions through exceptional service, expert product knowledge, and an ability to manage the end-to-end sales process with confidence. You will also be comfortable using digital tools such as Salesforce and working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure every customer interaction is efficient, flexible, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire in-depth product knowledge and deliver comprehensive information during demonstrations.
Act as the primary contact for in-store customer inquiries regarding vehicles, aftermarket products, and financial services.
Explain product benefits and features, build rapport, and identify customer needs through effective questioning and interpersonal skills.
Manage customer appointments, test drives, and the delivery/handover process, including trade-ins and documentation.
Complete valuations, prepare accurate sales contracts, and maintain customer data in Salesforce and Dealer Management System (DMS).
Achieve customer satisfaction objectives, follow up post-delivery, and perform additional duties as required by business needs.
About You

You will also bring:

Proven experience in customer-facing roles within a direct selling environment, with ability to manage the full sales process and complete supporting documentation.
Valid driver’s licence; strong digital competency including MS Office and confidence using online platforms to support sales activities.
Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills; adaptable to diverse customer needs while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Automotive industry background and Salesforce experience; demonstrates accountability, collaboration, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
