Are you someone who enjoys meeting people from all over the world, thrives in a customer‑facing environment, and is looking for flexible work? Agrodome is seeking a Casual Customer Experiences Assistant to support our team during busy periods, staff leave, and seasonal demand.
About the Role
As a Customer Experiences Assistant, you will play an important part in welcoming manuhiri to Agrodome and ensuring every visitor enjoys a smooth, engaging and positive experience. You will assist with front‑of‑house sales, bookings and general enquiries, operate our POS and reservations systems, and help maintain a high standard of presentation across our site.
You will be working alongside a supportive team who embody our Ngāi Tahu values and take pride in delivering genuine manaakitanga.
What You’ll Bring
You will thrive in this role if you have:
Experience in tourism, hospitality or retail
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Confidence using computers and the ability to learn new systems
A positive, “can‑do” attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
Good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Flexibility to work on‑call shifts, including weekends or public holidays when needed
Experience with cash handling, sales or POS systems is an advantage, and an interest in Ngāi Tahu values and culture is warmly welcomed.
