Covia is looking for a Customer Service Representative -Student who will have a positive impact on the Nepheline Syenite Operation located at the Blue Mountain facility.
The Customer Service Representative – Student/Intern is responsible for assisting the Customer Service team with the following tasks.
Order entry, confirmation and verification for select customer orders within Covia’s ERP systems including managing changes as required.
Creating bill of lading packages, processing shipments.
Communicate with customers and carriers regarding upcoming shipments and follow up on delays.
Respond to all email and phone inquiries in timely manner with professional communication.
Assist with all regular office duties including document organization, filing and special projects.
Maintain neat and orderly filing system for paperwork associated with the orders.
The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:
Ability to work with a dynamic team to ensure that customer expectations are met.
Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Professional email and phone communication etiquette.
Accountability for all assigned tasks.
The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program - associate’s degree in business or related bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft programs.
Ability to learn ERP Databases, particularly order processing and invoicing.
Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with various departments.
Professional email and telephone etiquette.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience contributing within a team environment to deliver set targets.
