Daily Supply Teacher

Due to increased demand across Basildon, Essex, and surrounding areas, we are currently recruiting newly qualified and experienced Secondary school teachers for supply on a contract tailored to your needs.
Working with Academics allows you to choose your own schedule while receiving support and competitive pay, whether you're seeking part-time or full-time work!
• Daily Supply Teacher
• Secondary school
• Basildon, Essex
• October 2026 start
• Part time & full time
• £130 - £170 per day
• KS3-KS4
• Flexible working arrangements
• Regular ongoing work
• Allocated dedicated consultant that offers continuous support to match your requirements
• Long term/ Short term contracts
Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of the UK Secondary Curriculum
• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Right to work in the UK
• Passion for teaching
• Degree in Education
• Teaching experience in KS3-KS4
• Good behaviour management skills
• Confident an approachable individual
• Able to commute to and from Basildon, Essex or the surrounding areas
• Flexibility and adaptable to job location
• Adapting to different subjects and grade levels as needed
