Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. As a teacher, you will create an engaging learning environment, fostering creativity and self-expression through dance.
Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Teach various dance styles included but not limited to ballet, modern jazz, tap, lyrical, commercial, contemporary, acrobatics.
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence.
Prepare students for performances, competitions, or examinations as required.
Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the studio.
Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive curriculum.
Participate in studio events, workshops, and community outreach programmes when required to.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages.
A relevant qualification in dance or performing arts is advantageous.
First Aid certification is a plus.
DBS
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by class schedules.
