Job Description
We are looking for a highly passionate dance instructor to join our studio and support our vision of encouraging holistic development in children. You will be responsible for training kids from 3 - 10 years of age in different dance styles and techniques. You are expected to teach different dance forms like hip-hop, bollywood, freestyle, modern and contemporary in a fun and interactive manner. Success in this role will be demonstrated not only by the overall performance of your students, but by the amount of fun/smiles spread across the room as well as their willingness to continue pursuing dance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Create a fun, engaging and energetic atmosphere in the class by creating themed lesson plans.
Stay up-to-date with the music and dance trends.
Teach safe ways to stretch, practice and perform.
Teach age-appropriate dance styles using methodologies ranging from beginner to advanced level.
Effectively interact with students and parents to provide feedback
Desired Profile
Degree in dance(preferred)/BA/Bcom or certification from an accredited institution.
Recognition at state or national level in dance is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
Should have worked with this age group and can communicate comfortably
Possess good physical strength, endurance, enthusiasm and creativity.
