About Us
PQA Wirral has been running for over 10 amazing years, offering high-quality performing arts training to young people aged 6–18. We’re a fun, energetic, and committed team, delivering exciting and rewarding sessions every weekend, and we currently run four academies across two venues:
Upton Hall School - Friday evenings & Saturday mornings
BHSA (Birkenhead High School Academy) – Saturday mornings & afternoons
We’re now looking for a Musical Theatre Teacher to join our Saturday afternoon Academy at BHSA (1:45–5:00pm), starting from 6th September 2026.
About the Role
As our Musical Theatre teacher, you’ll lead dynamic weekly sessions that combine vocals and choreography, helping our students grow in confidence, skill, and creativity. You’ll be instrumental in developing full-scale musical productions, and working as part of a supportive, hard-working, and genuinely passionate team.
We’re looking for someone who is...
Experienced in teaching musical theatre, including singing and dance
Capable of creating new, exciting routines and vocal arrangements
A confident leader with a positive, energetic presence in the room
Genuinely passionate about working with young performers aged 6–18
Excited about what performing arts can do for a young person’s confidence, creativity, and development
Within easy commuting distance of Prenton (Wirral) – drivers preferred
Creative, reliable, and ready to bring the buzz every Saturday afternoon!
