We are seeking a talented and creative Choreographer to design and lead dance performances for our Annual Day celebration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance, a knack for working with children, and the ability to create engaging and age-appropriate choreography that showcases our students' talents.
Key Responsibilities:
Choreography Development:
Create original dance routines suitable for various age groups.
Incorporate different dance styles as appropriate (e.g., contemporary, traditional, hip-hop).
Collaborate with teachers to align performances with the school’s theme and objectives.
Rehearsal Coordination:
Schedule and conduct rehearsals, ensuring all students feel included and confident.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their performance skills.
Adjust choreography as needed to accommodate students’ abilities and group dynamics.
Performance Preparation:
Oversee staging and movement logistics during rehearsals and the final performance.
Ensure all dancers understand their roles and cues during the show.
Conduct final rehearsals leading up to the performance day.
