Cloud Engineering Leadership

We seek an experienced Cloud Engineering Lead who will drive the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud architectures. This individual will also lead cloud migration strategies, hybrid/multi-cloud adoption, and platform modernization initiatives.
The successful candidate will oversee data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines, architect and optimize data lakehouses, warehouses, and data marts, and implement best practices for data quality, data lineage, and data governance.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on engineering with strategic oversight.
• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Drive cloud migration strategies, hybrid/multi-cloud adoption, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and operational best practices.
• Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines (e.g., Databricks, Spark, SQL, ETL).
• Architect and optimize data lakehouses, warehouses, and data marts to support analytics and reporting.
• Implement best practices for data quality, data lineage, and data governance.
• Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams.
• Enforce engineering standards (CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code).
• Review technical designs, code quality, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and objectives are met.
• Identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support pre-sales and client engagements with solution demonstrations and technical proposals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, and leading technical teams.
• Strong expertise in:
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Data Engineering: Databricks, Spark, SQL, ETL tools
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
