Samsung Finance+ Team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data engineer. The successful candidate should have a deep understanding of building efficient data pipelines, data processing techniques, statistical modelling and passion for utilizing data to drive business growth.
About the Role
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Candidate to work form SRIB Bangalore with 3 days working from office is mandatory
What You Will Do
Python/ Spark knowledge with AWS EMR, Lambda and other AWS Data Oriented services
What You Need to Be Successful
Development experience with Elastic Search or Open Search or SOLR. Engineer is part of Search team for E-comm products like Amazon/Flipkart/Myntra/etc. to develop search service (ranking, search APIs, query optimization, ..).
Please note ELK (elastic search, logstash, kibana) experience is different and that don’t match this expectation
Good to have: ML experience
Bonus Points if You Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Proven experience in data processing, ETL, statistical modelling, and machine learning, preferably in offline retail or e-commerce setting
5 Years of industry experience in working with large volumes of data, evaluating patterns and trends, and developing models.
