Data Engineer

5 – 10 years experience in Data Engineering/ Advanced ETL  Open for domestic and international travels  Location :Bangalore Position responsibilities and expectations  Stakeholder facing role across different functions of the organizations (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Customer, Supply Chain) to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights to accelerate profitable growth  Strong data representation and lucid presentation (of analysis/modelling output using Power Point, Excel etc.  Conceptualize solution to business problems using advance analytics techniques and deliver independently or along with a small team  Maintain and optimize data pipelines so that our database is a source of truth for decision making  Design, build, test, and maintain machine learning infrastructure to empower data scientists to rapidly iterate on model development.  Develop continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines  Establish architecture for real-time, global data and metric visualization tools Technical Skills required  Strong experience in could infra (AWS, Azure or GCP)  Strong understanding of linear algebra, optimization, probability, statistics and Experience productionizing machine learning methodologies such as regression, classification, clustering, matrix factorization  Strong experience in developing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)  Proficient knowledge of git, Docker and containers, Kubernetes  Advanced database management systems skills (particularly MySQL / PostgreSQL/ RDS/ NoSQL)  Experience with deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, Keras, and Pytorch)  Familiarity with Terraform  Familiarity with distributed storage and processing of big data with Hadoop and Spark  Ability to build scalable machine learning systems spanning multiple teams or organizations  Experience with streaming applications like Lambda and Kafka  CloudTrail  Strong hands-on experience in R/Python and other statistical tools (including data visualization techniques) on standalone or cloud applications Consulting skills required  Excellent Comprehension, Written and Oral Communication skill  Experience in handling a small team remotely  Conceptualizing solution to business problems using advance analytics techniques and identifying data requirements  Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude Degrees/Certifications Earned  B.Tech / M.Tech (CS/ Mathematics & Scientific Computing
